Modbus Plus Network Diagnostic Functions

Procedure To display the diagnostic information from a node proceed as follows:

Step Action

1 Select the node to display diagnostic information from by scrolling to it in the list and

clicking the mouse on it.

Results:

z the node is highlighted,

z the routing path for that item is shown in the Node Selected for Display field.

2 Click on the appropriate diagnostic data types button (Node Error Statistics, Node

Personality, Read Global Data, etc.)

Result: the information is read from the selected node and displayed in a new screen.

Note: the data on that screen is continually updated as long as the screen is open.
